What is Arbutin Pure?

Arbutin is a naturally occurring glycoside, which means it's a molecule composed of a sugar (in this case, glucose) bound to another functional group (hydroquinone). It is derived from the leaves of various plants, most notably the bearberry shrub (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi).

Arbutin is typically found in a variety of skincare products, including serums, moisturizers, toners, and masks.Alpha-Arbutin also minimizes liver spots and meets all the requirements of a modern skin-brightening and skin depigmentation product.
