Honeysuckle extract grows all over China, it is mainly distributed in Shandong and Henan provinces. And their medicinal part is the flower bud or newly-bloomed flower of Lonicera japonica Thunb., Lonicera hypoglauca Miq., Lonicera confusa DC., and Lonicera dasystyla Rehd.; plants of the Caprifoliaceae family.
Use: Recommended use level 1%-10% in skin care products. Japanese honeysuckle extract is use in masks, scrubs, soaps, exfoliants and more.

Honeysuckle Extract Benefits:
Honeysuckle extract is one of the oldest medicinal herbs in known history. Sometimes referred to as woodbine, European honeysuckle was once used widely to treat urinary complaints, asthma, and during childbirth.
Honeysuckle flowers were traditionally used in Chinese medicine to treat fevers, inflammation, diarrhea and skin infections.
Lonicera caprifolium (honeysuckle) flower extract can be used to treat skin rashes, such as poison oak, cuts and abrasions on the skin.
